WHAT IT DOES:
Readicide is the safest Quaternary Germicide that is Tuberculocidal. Readicide is basic but non-corrosive. It contains powerful quaternary germicides in a solution that is ready to use. Readicide is a must in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and doctor's offices. Use Readicide to preclean and decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high-level disinfection.
Use Readicide to clean and disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces such as glazed tile (bathtubs, showers, sinks), walls and furniture (examining tables, chairs, cabinets, bed springs), telephones and doorknobs. It is effective on counters and sinks and it is also a strong deodorizer for garbage cans and garbage storage areas.
When used as directed, Readicide is effective as a:
Bactericidal against Mycobacterium tuberculosis (BCG) at 200ºC, Staphylococccus aureus, Salmonella, choleraesuis, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Readicide meets the requirements for hospital use.
Virucidal, it kills the HIV-1 virus (associated with AIDS) on environmental, inanimate, non-porous surfaces.
Fungicidal that is effective against Tricophyton mentagrophytes (Athlete's Foot Fungus).
Easy Disinfection, Deodorizing and Cleaning: Remove gross filth or heavy soil before treatment with Readicide. Hold container six to eight inches from surface to be treated. Spray area until it is covered with the solution. Allow Readicide to penetrate and remain wet for ten minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. Wipe off with a clean cloth, mop or sponge. Readicide will not leave grit or soap scum.
Mildewstat, it controls mold and mildew on precleaned, hard, non-porous surfaces. Simply spray area to be treated with Readicide, making sure to wet completely. Let air-dry.
